How can your business help healthcare in our community?
Companies can donate any amount of money at any time to CVHF. These donations can be designated to a particular department such as Maternal Child or Residential Care, or go to our general fund called Areas of Greatest Need. When businesses make a donation to our Foundation, we then create recognition opportunities like a cheque presentation photo, which we send to local media and post on our social media and website.
Organize an Event:
Third-party events are a great way for companies and service clubs to give back to their community while boosting employee or member morale and raising their profile. These events can be big or small, and can raise money for non-profits in a number of ways, from a raffle or admission to a show by donation, silent auctions or proceeds from sales.
Hosting an event is also a great way to build awareness for your business in the Comox Valley while giving back to your community. With the funds raised from these events, we set up a cheque presentation photo and send to media, share on our website and post on our social media.
One of our biggest fundraisers each year is the HollisWealth Annual Golf Charity Classic held at Crown Isle, which raises $50,000 for our Foundation on average. Companies can sponsor one of the 18 holes at Crown Isle, cart banners, pin flags, golf balls and customized items. Other sponsorship opportunities can occur at other third-party events in the form of silent or live auction items.
To raise awareness for our Foundation, we regularly participate in social media giveaways using donated ‘swag’ and product from local companies. Donating products or gift certificates to our Foundation for these giveaways help us increase our profile in the community, while we recognize your company for its generosity to our wide audience.
