With donor support, we help local healthcare professionals gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to deliver the best possible care. Behind every course, conference, and workshop is a healthcare professional committed to learning and improving care.
Education takes many forms, from national conferences to hands-on training right here in our hospital. We aim to fund learning opportunities that help healthcare professionals bring leading practices back to our community, directly improving patient outcomes and strengthening our healthcare system.
Conferences
We provide funding for healthcare professionals to attend conferences that strengthen specialized knowledge and improve patient care.

Simulation & In-Hospital Learning
We support on-site education that prepares teams to work effectively during high-stress circumstances where every second counts in saving a life.
This includes Mock Code Blue Training within the hospital, helping interdisciplinary teams practice emergency responses in a safe, controlled environment. These simulations build confidence, coordination, and readiness to resuscitate patients in their most vulnerable moments.
Supporting Healthcare Students
Investing in education also means supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Through a bursary established at North Island College, we help reduce financial barriers for students pursuing healthcare education, supporting their journey from classroom to community care.
