From a personal story to experienced professional advice, come learn about the financial and community benefits of charitable giving.
Look forward to a workshop focused on the personal and community benefits of charitable giving. You will hear from a community member who shares his personal story about his mother’s charitable legacy and from experienced professionals who offer understanding about the financial benefit of giving. Together the group offers up-to-date information on the topic, inspiration, and an informal workshop approach that invites your questions.
This seminar will feature presentations from Kathryn Jones, Senior Manager at Grant Thornton, Natalie Walker, Associate Wealth Advisor with Coastal Community’s Private Wealth Group, and Terry Farrell, Editor of the Comox Valley Record.
Terry Farrell will speak personally about his mother who was a visionary in how she set up her estate and whose actions will make a difference in the lives of families in Edmonton for perpetuity. He shares his family’s story with the hope that others will feel a similar urgency to create positive impact around causes close to their hearts.
