When you plan a fundraiser, you get to incorporate your interests and creativity. Focusing your efforts on something you enjoy drives a fundraiser’s success. Inviting friends and family to join you is another way to ensure your fundraiser has a significant impact on healthcare here in the Comox Valley.

The Foundation can support your fundraising in the following ways:

♥︎ Guidance – respond to questions and provide feedback.

♥︎ Promotional Materials – provide a banner, sandwich board sign, a collection can, a pop-up tent, pledge forms, donation forms, photo release forms, brochures, and/or impact reports.

♥︎ Promotional Support – help promote your event through the Foundation’s website and social media channels.

♥︎ Official Endorsement – provide the Foundation’s logo and a letter of acknowledgment.

♥︎ Online Fundraising Tools – set up your fundraising page, making it easy for you to collect donations online and track your progress. These tools generate automatic thank you messages and can be set up to message you when donations come in.

♥︎ Tax Receipts – issue tax receipts according to Canada Revenue Agency’s receipting guidelines.

♥︎ Gratitude & Acknowledgement – connect to celebrate your efforts including hosting a cheque presentation and reporting your generosity on our website and social media channels.

We encourage you to do the following:

✔︎ Submit a fundraising form (below).

✔︎ Call the Foundation for guidance.

✔︎ Wait for approval before using the Foundation’s logo and prior to promoting your event.

✔︎ Utilize social media and other community channels to promote your fundraiser.

✔︎ Post your fundraising initiative on your business and/or personal Facebook page or Instagram account and tag Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation or mention @cvhealthcarefdn.

✔︎ Submit press releases.

✔︎ Make and distribute posters.

✔︎ Keep track of your activities and everyone’s involvement.

✔︎ Thank everyone who helps.
