Comox Valley Lions Club Donates $1,500 to Diagostic Enhancements
The Comox Valley Lions Club has generously contributed $1,500 toward the community’s ongoing Diagnostic Advancement Campaign, marking another milestone in the Club’s remarkable 25-year legacy of supporting local healthcare. Over the past quarter century, the Lions have donated nearly $95,000 to strengthen health services close to home.
Much of the Club’s fundraising success comes from its popular Bingo nights, held at the Lions Den at 1729 Comox Avenue (rear entrance). Open to the public, these lively community gatherings offer fun, food, and friendly competition—all made possible by a small but dedicated team of volunteers. Proceeds from Bingo support a wide range of important local causes, including healthcare initiatives.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to the Comox Valley Lions Club for their steadfast commitment to improving healthcare in our region,” said Rhonda Stevens, Co-Executive Director Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation. “Their continued support is making a lasting impact on the well-being of families throughout the Comox Valley.”
