4th Annual Stockings for Seniors

We are very excited to once again bring some holiday cheer to vulnerable seniors receiving care in the hospital, in long-term care and in community.

Our Stockings for Seniors initiative is a partnership with IG Wealth Management with Mandy Baker and her team championing the project.

We need your help to make it an extraordinary showing of love and support! Community collection of stocking stuffers will take place between Monday, November 17 - Friday, December 12 at the IG Wealth Management office (22-1599 Cliffe Avenue, Courtenay).

Wish List:

• New or gently-used Christmas stockings

• Non-slip socks

• Large-print word-find books

• Pencils, pens, and highlighters

• Playing cards

• 2026 mini calendars

• Small notebooks/journals

• Soft chocolate packages

• Diabetic-friendly treats

• Mugs with lids

• Sachets of hot chocolate or tea

• Shortbread cookies (small boxes)

• Nail polish

• Kleenex (small pkg)

• Mini plush stuffed animals (6-inch max)

• Ball caps

• Light weight scarves for women

• Specialty items like jar openers, gopher grabbers, magnifying glasses and small hand exercise balls

Together, we hope to provide comfort items and treats for 184 seniors who don't have family nearby during the holidays nor room in their budget for extras.
