Cheers to community support: Church St Taphouse raises more than a glass

The Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation (CVHF) is thrilled to celebrate the continued generosity of Church St Taphouse (CST) and their incredible community of patrons. Through their annual Charity Tap, this year’s efforts raised $300, bringing their impressive five-year fundraising total to $2,267 in support of local healthcare.

Located in the heart of downtown Comox, Church St Taphouse made giving back as easy as ordering a pint. During the month of June, with every glass poured from the RAD Brewing Rotator Tap, $1 was donated to the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation to help fund healthcare priorities close to home.

Co-owners of Church St Taphouse and RAD Brewing Company – Craig Grant, Ben Davies, and Chris Morrison – show their community support in many ways. Their latest auction donation to the Foundation’s Golf Classic garnered over $2.4K with many enthusiastic bidders keen to raise a paddle to buy “a very RAD private party.”

“These are such great examples of our business community stepping up in a meaningful way,” said Avry Janes, Co-Executive Director of the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation. “We’re so grateful for their continued support—and to every guest who raised a glass for a great cause.”

The Charity Tap may be a year-round tradition, but the impact it’s making is lasting. A huge thank you to the team at Church St Taphouse for showing what community spirit truly looks like—one pint at a time.
