The 34th Annual Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation Golf Classic presented by REMAX Ocean Pacific was held at Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community on Friday, June 19th.
We are deeply grateful for the incredible community support that made the event so memorable, enjoyable, and impactful - $80,700 was raised! Proceeds from this year’s tournament will support enhancements to the Emergency Department at the Comox Valley Hospital, helping equip healthcare providers with the latest technology to deliver critical care to more than 39,000 patients annually.
Every golfer, volunteer, sponsor, and donor played an important role in the event’s success. Their enthusiasm, generosity, and community spirit made a lasting impact, and we are so thankful to have shared the day with you.

Golf Scramble Rules
1) Everyone hits off the tee, your team picks the best shot, everyone advances and plays from there; this approach continues until the green; no requirements to use a drive from each player; this is a fun-focused event meant for all types of golfers.
2) Men play from the green tee boxes, women play from the red tee boxes.
3) Maximum score on any hole is 7, please pick up if necessary, 2 putt maximum.
4) Before advancing to Hole 1, take part in the putting contest at the practice putting green. Coastal Transportation & Storage is offering an incredible prize.
5) Look for an exciting hole-in-one contest on Hole 4! Central Builders is sponsoring a $10,000 cash prize!
6) There will be a Women’s long drive on Hole 1; men’s long drive on Hole 8; a KP for all players on Hole 7, and a pro-hole thanks to Crown Isle on Hole 16 plus several special offerings and activities at other tee boxes.
7) Maintaining pace of play is important so that everyone can enjoy appetizers at 6:30pm followed by dinner.

Heads or Tails for Healthcare - A fun chance to win a $2,000 prize package
Heads or Tails for Healthcare is an activity designed to bring everyone together in support of great care, close to home played as a group during the evening banquet. It is a game of chance that is easy and fun. It is an elimination game where participants declare heads or tails in advance of a coin flip and if you guess correctly you advance to the next round until there is one person standing - the prize winner. $30 is the cost to play offering you one chance at the prize. $50 gets you into the game and offers you a power play, a second chance at the prize. Every ticket purchased will support enhancements to the Emergency Department at the Comox Valley Hospital. If you pre-purchase through the website, your wristbands (tickets to play) will be given to you upon checking in to golf on June 19th.
