For the month of April Mr. Lube Courtenay donated $2 on every oil change and raised $940.00. Also customers made donations in support of the promotion and raised an additional $288.00. Together a total of $1,428 was raised to support the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation.

Mr. Lube is locally owned and operated by Guenter Raedler and his team.  They pride themselves by ensuring locals in Courtenay have a place they can drive in and get their cars fixed quickly and correctly.  Aside from the trusted service, they are always looking for opportunities to give back to the community and helping those most in need.  Therefore, they partnered with the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation and founded the Give Thanks month at Mr. Lube in April.  This partnership with the Healthcare Foundation will be an annual event and the proceeds will help support the purchase of new equipment for 4th Operating room at the Comox Valley Hospital as well as The Views at St. Joseph’s as they continue to develop their future role in Residential Care.

Mr. Lube is Canada’s leading quick lube provider in the routine automotive maintenance sector.  The company was founded in 1976, pioneering a category of automotive servicing that focused on convenience and no appointment necessary.  With 170 locations across the country, Mr. Lube is operated by a national network of franchisees.
