“We stand on the shoulders of giants,” humbly remarks Mark Blandford, CEO of Providence Living, as he addresses the many stakeholders who have gathered to celebrate the opening of Providence Living at the Views which successfully welcomed residents to their new home July 8, 2024.

They didn’t have far to travel from their old home to new, but what a monumental and emotional journey for all involved.

From the vision and early stage work that began nearly a decade ago, to vision boards and blue prints, to construction and staff education on the new model of care, to partnership development and community engagement, and to everything in between the Providence Living team and their healthcare staff have shown incredible courage and commitment to providing the best possible care for seniors and their families here in the Comox Valley. It has been an honour to walk alongside them throughout the process and to work with donors who care so deeply about the Views and its people.

We invite our community to learn more about this exciting, transformative project through the following news links and we offer our sincere congratulations to everyone involved.
