St. Joseph’s Staff Kick-Off Headshaving Event to support Cancer Care

For the 6th year in a row, staff from St. Joseph’s Hospital are rallying together to raise funds for the Hospital by shaving their heads. 5 brave individuals are out and about in the community asking for pledges.

Coral Forbes – RN Cancer Care, Mary Anne Stagg – Diagnostic Imaging, Nancy Horton – Nutritional Services, Wendi Columby – representing St. Joseph’s Auxiliary, and Rick Finney – Community Representative will all shave their heads on August 29th with hopes to raise funds to support Cancer care at St. Joseph’s.
Since the beginning in 2007, St. Joseph’s Hospital Staff and physicians have come together every summer to raise an astounding $67,000 to date.
If you would like to make a donation to support the head-shaving challenge at St. Joseph’s, please drop by the Hospital Foundation office in the lobby of the Hospital or contact us at 890-3046. or by e-mail foundation @sjghcomox.ca

The public is invited to attend the headshaving which will be in the lobby of the Hospital August 29th at 3:00 PM. Cake will be served.
