To honour our legacy and to acknowledge the community for entrusting its care to St. Joseph’s for the past 100 years, the Hospital Foundation has embarked upon a Healing Garden Project. Currently under development on the south-side of the ground, this legacy project will include a garden area, a water feature and resting space for patients, families, caregivers, volunteers, and staff to enjoy for many years to come.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Beaufort Range and Comox Bay, this Healing Garden will incorporate the tranquility and beauty of our region—a special place that will invoke a sense of peacefulness and will provide the comforts of nature. The project has been funded in part by proceeds from the St. Joseph’s Charity Golf Classic held this summer, and through donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation Legacy Years “100 Years, 1000 Stories” Campaign.

By making a donation to the Legacy Years Campaign, your name and special year will be etched on a plaque and placed on the base of The St. Joseph’s Sculpture that will be located in the garden. Donors who make a contribution now through to the end of 2013 will also receive a copy of the Centennial Commemorative Book as a special gift and as a thank you for once again giving back to your community hospital. Be a part of this legacy project and donate to a year of significance and remembrance.
