Established in 1991, the Central Vancouver Island Royal Canadian Mounted Police Veterans work to create and foster fellowship, develop new friendships and renew past friendships with members and families. These veterans actively choose to support charitable organizations in their community and have recently donated $500.00 to support acute care at our local hospital, here in the Comox Valley.

“I am incredibly appreciative of the Central Vancouver Island RCMP Veterans’ donation to support acute care in the Comox Valley. With their support, we continue to enhance healthcare in our community.” Stated Jessica Aldred, Executive Director, Comox Valley Hospital.

Mary Kostashuk, Regional Director Comox Valley, Central Vancouver Island RCMP Veterans, mentions, “The Central Vancouver Island Royal Canadian Mounted Police Veterans are committed to philanthropy throughout Vancouver Island. I am excited to present this donation to the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation today, in support of local healthcare in our region.”

Thank you to the members of the RCMP Veterans for their support of essential healthcare, close to home.
