Living up to their motto to serve and give back to community, the Comox Valley Lions Club donated $5,000 to the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation to fund equipment that will provide enhanced care that our families, friends and neighbours can continue to count on, right here at home.

The Comox Valley Lions Club members have held weekly Friday night BINGO at the Lions Den to fundraise. The Club has been a long-standing, loyal supporter of the Comox Valley Healthcare Foundation since 1996, giving more then $88,000 over 24 years towards high-priority medical equipment. They are truly outstanding ambassadors in our community.

“We are grateful to the members of the Comox Valley Lions Club for their generous support over the years,” shares Rhonda Stevens, Co-Executive Director of the Healthcare Foundation. “This latest donation will be used to fund medical equipment that has been prioritized by healthcare leadership. Our population is growing and aging, gifts like this help ensure our healthcare teams have what they need to provide excellent care. Thank you to the Lions Club members for giving back to the community.”
